I loved the thoughtfulness and perspective some of the drawings had。 There’s also a history here。 I don’t think you can be a political cartoonist， draw animals， and not be connected with Maus。

I don’t know how I came across Will McPhail the first time， but his humor is so sad-relatable funny or eerily-accurate funny。 I’m convinced if we met in real life， we’d fall in love 🤷🏻♀️

Thanks Goodreads for my copy of Love & Vermin by Will McPhail。 The cartoons are clever and very well drawn。 I must admit， there were definitely some cartoons that I just did not get the meaning of。 But overall I thought they were very funny and topical。 I enjoyed this book and finished it quickly。 It is the type of book you would reread many times and always get more meaning from the cartoons。
